The majority of the more than 30 European-trained stars set to compete in Breeders’ Cup World Championships Friday and Saturday arrived into Southern California on four separate flights over the weekend, the first on Saturday and three more on Sunday.

• Monday Morning Defections:
Kodiak Kowboy (S) worked a half-mile in 52 2/5 at Santa Anita, but failed to scope clean after returning to the barn and was declared.
Allicansayis Wow (FMS) worked a sharp half-mile in 47 1/5 Sunday morning at Santa Anita, but sustained a suspensory injury, according to trainer Patrick Biancone.
Raging Wit (JT) was ranked fourth in the Preference List for the Juvenile Turf, but did not ship from Kentucky where he finished 10th in Sunday’s Iroquois Stakes at Churchill Downs.
Dave in Dixie (J) was ranked first on the Preference List for the Juvenile, but trainer John Sadler said the colt would pass the event even if he drew into the race, although not because of any physical problems at this time.
Fist of Rage (J/JT) was sixth on the Preference List in the Juvenile and eighth on the Preference List in the Juvenile Turf and did not ship from Kentucky.

Sweet Hearth (DM/FMS) declared after not scoping clean after a morning trial at Chantilly in France for trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre.
Oasis Dancer (JT) connections decided not to ship from England after left fifth on Preference List for Juvenile Turf.
Yankee Injunuity (TS) declared by trainer Jim McMullen after diagnosed with a strained suspensory following workout at Hawthorne on October 29.
