City by the Bay Nominated to Pleasanton Oaks

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 15, 2014) – Unbeaten City by the Bay and fellow multiple stakes winners Rovenna and Sprouts are among the 16 nominees for the first $50,000 Pleasanton Oaks, to be run Sunday, June 22, at the new Oak Tree at Pleasanton racing meet at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

The $50,000 Pleasanton Oaks will be run at six furlongs for 3-year-old fillies. Supplemental nominations, at a cost of $1,000, are due at the time of entry. The race was formerly called the Wine Country Stakes. Nominations     Past Performances
