NTRA Drive for Check-Off

From NTRA WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 8, 2013) -- With the Kentucky Derby behind us, it is time to focus on the 2013 yearling sales.  Specifically, the NTRA asks for assistance with enrolling your clients in the voluntary ¼% Check-off program that funds the NTRA’s federal legislative advocacy in Washington, D.C. on behalf of horse racing and breeding.

Please click here to download the enrollment form for sales at Keeneland, Fasig-Tipton, Barretts, Washington Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association and Breeders Sales Company of Louisiana.

You or your clients may participate by completing the form and returning it with the sales contract. A special note about OBS:  if you are selling at OBS, the NTRA will send contribution information directly to you following the sale.

We ask you to join your peers in this effort.  Click here for a promotional flyer that provides interesting facts about the program and an update from Capitol Hill on issues that impact our industry. The flyer also features images of some who have regularly participated.

The success of the ¼% Check-off Program and of the NTRA’s federal legislative advocacy begins with you – thank you for your consideration.
