TOBA Relaunches Website

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 7, 2016)  - The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) announced the launch of a new, a website that has been re-designed to deliver a more personal and informative experience to owners and breeders and fans with greater information and functionality across all digital devices.

“Digital and social media with real time interaction is very important to us reaching the entire Thoroughbred industry and the enhanced content on our new website will allow us to provide more information and serve our membership more effectively,” said Aly Strainer , TOBA Director of Marketing & Membership.  “The new TOBA website provides centralized information on past and upcoming graded stakes races and will generate more interaction with our members and anyone interested in getting involved with owning Thoroughbreds.”

The redesign features an interactive calendar, TOBA programs, graded stakes, social media and live links to all of our partners, board members, and sponsors. Through our joint efforts with Blood-Horse, The Jockey Club, OwnerView, Equibase, and others we are trying to create a hub for people to access essential racing, breeding and sales information in a readily available place and format,” Strainer said.  The new website also includes a searchable American Graded Stakes listing for the current year and, in the near future, one for all Graded Stakes since their inception in 1973.

“The relaunch and design of marks the 55th anniversary of the organization and throughout its history, TOBA has been an unwavering advocate for owners and breeders,” said Dan Metzger, president of TOBA.  “Through our Board of Trustees, TOBA has established and maintained a constant leadership role in the industry that both simultaneously stays the same and changes constantly. We’re excited about our new website and believe it will become a valuable resource for our members and the entire industry alike.”
