Windy Forecast Dominates in Pleasanton Oaks

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 20, 2015) – Favored Windy Forecast went wire to wire to win Sunday’s $59,015 Pleasanton Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at Oak Tree at Pleasanton.

Windy Forecast is by Stormy Atlantic, out of the Forty Niner mare Scapegoat, was bred by McKnight Thoroughbreds, is owned by Darrell and Lendy Brown and TNIP Racing and is trained by Simon Callaghan.

She has two wins in seven starts, earnings of $95,110 and was coming off a sixth in the May 15 Miss Preakness Stakes.

Windy Forecast ran the six furlongs in 1:10.25 and won by four lengths at odds of 2-1. Patsy G and Me was second and Deb’s Wildcard third in the field of eight.
