G. G. Ryder Headlines Oak Tree Handicap

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 17, 2015) – Multiple graded winner G. G. Ryder is the likely favorite in Saturday’s $50,000 Oak Tree Handicap at the Oak Tree at Pleasanton meet.

Zeewat is by Harlan’s Holiday, out of the Distant View mare Delizia, was bred by Derry Meeting Farm, is owned by Hollendorfer and Todaro and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has seven wins in 23 starts, earnings of $381,200 and is coming off a fourth in an Apr. 19 allowance.

G. G. Ryder is by Chhaya Dance, out of the Storm Boot mare Stormy Gigi, was bred by Eagle Oak Ranch, is owned by Hollendorfer and Todaro and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has 10 wins in 19 starts, earnings of $375,114 and is coming off consecutive Grade III wins.

Blues Blaster is by Redattore, out of the Rhythm mare Miss Rhythmic, was bred by Briere Thoroughbreds and is owned by trainer Bruce Dillenbeck. He has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $106,981 and is coming off a sixth in the May 25 All American.
