NTRA Asks for Check-off Contribution

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 6, 2015) -- Yearling sale deadlines are here and the NTRA asks for assistance with enrolling your clients in the voluntary ¼% Check-off program that funds the NTRA’s federal legislative advocacy on behalf of the horse racing industry.

Please download the Check-off program enrollment form for sales at Keeneland, Fasig-Tipton, Barretts, Washington Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association and Breeders Sales Company of Louisiana.  You or your clients may participate by completing the form and returning it with the sales contract.  A special note about OBS:  if you are selling at OBS, the NTRA will directly contact sellers following the sale.

We ask you to join hundreds of industry members who support this effort each year. Click here for a promotional flier that includes details on an industry call-to-action from NTRA President and CEO Alex Waldrop.

Additional support materials include the 2014 Legislative Annual Report and the 2015 NTRA Today brochure.

The success of the ¼% Check-off Program and of the NTRA’s federal legislative advocacy begins with you – thank you for your consideration.

With Appreciation,
Joe Bacigalupo
